Who am I?

My name is Sridhar Jayaraman (also known as Sridhar J) and I am a IT Process and Governance Consultant with one of the top 3 IT Companies in India. I have recently completed an assignment with one of the world's leading Financial Services company in the Netherlands, where I was associated with their CMMI Journey as part of a larger "Transformation" initiative.

I have done similar consulting engagements with other large organizations using different Frameworks, including Automotive SPICE, CMMI and IT Performance Management using the Balanced ScoreCard.

Prior to my joining the Consulting division, I worked in different parts of the organization. I have lead teams in Process Definition, conducted Audits and assessments and developed tools to enhance the delivery capabilities of the organization. I also pioneered the use of the Agile Methodology, developing an Agile Model that works in a process-mature organization and as an Agile coach to mentor projects. I also find an acknowledgement in Mike Cohn's Book on Agile Project Management for my review of his book. A Paper on Criteria for judging a project suitable for Agile was published in the 2005 edition of PML - a Project Management Conference organized by QAI.

Outside of business, I'm known for two things: blogging and photography. Personally, I love reading, spending time with my family, blogging and all things fuzzy. At my core, I'm an activist and a scholar.

If you are looking to contact me professionally, please use Linkedin to connect with me. If you would like to know me on a personal level, Facebook is the way to go. Please do not use them indiscriminately. Although I love to blog, I don't find myself usually in the mood, though I usually have a a few things that I really care about to write.
